My journey to bringing KeyOnni (key-uh-knee) to fruition began at the start of the global COVID‑19 pandemic—a moment when the world slowed down and creativity became a source of comfort, healing, and joy. Looking for something fun and expressive to do, I began creating art simply because it made me feel alive. I’ve always admired beautiful artwork, but owning the pieces I loved wasn’t always within reach. So, I created my own. One project turned into another, and that spark of creativity carried me through an uncertain time.
But the true turning point came in April 2025, when a corporate layoff reshaped my path. After more than 10 years of working tirelessly to help achieve someone else’s goals and dreams, I knew it was time to build something of my own. I wanted to live differently—to create freely, to own my work, and to build a revenue stream rooted in my passion, not someone else’s vision.
From that moment of reinvention, this boutique was born. Today, my brand stands proudly as a 100% creatively owned arts and crafts store dedicated to offering unique gifts, handmade treasures, and inspired finds that speak to the heart.
